Shades Creek Greenway

A paved 3-mile multi-use path in the Birmingham. metropolitan area.

Red Rock Ridge & Valley System

A network of almost 120 miles or trails, parks, bike lanes, and sidewalks.

Chief Ladiga Trail

A 33-mile paved path that connects several small towns.

Railroad Park Downtown

Several miles of paved path in the heart of Downtown Birmingham.

Black Creek Park

This 3-mile nature trail is the site of the old rail bed. It winds through the forest, is not to be missed.

Oak Mountain State Park

29 miles of the trail made up of mostly singletrack with some gravel and paved portions.

Red Mountain Park

A 15-mile trail system that traverses exciting and diverse terrain. Includes scenic views.

Hillsboro Trail

3 miles of mostly paved multi-use trail near the Cahaba River.

Vulcan Trail

The park offers parking and a 2 mile trail that extends to Green Springs highway.

Trussville Cahaba River Paths

The two-mile greenway will offer a new opportunity to bike, run and walk along the Cahaba River.

Horse Creek Trail

The Horse Creek Trail spans just over 3 paved miles between Dora and Sumiton.
