      Comments:

My bike is my only form of transportation, and I even use it to haul groceries to feed a family of three. I overload this basket multiple times a week with groceries, books and other things -- and it held up beautifully for 2 1/2 years before the mesh attached to the locking mechanism finally began to break. Note: that I had the brace professionally installed at a bike shop, so maybe that is why I have not had any problems with it.

      Comments:

Maybe it was installed incorrectly, but the brace that the basket attaches to (on the handlebars), broke the first day I used it. Basket will slide onto the brace now, but there is no "locking" device. That is the part that broke. Seems too small for the basket's weight. Now, if I go over a medium size bump, the basket usually falls off. Very disappointed. Love the basket.. Wish it could be attached some other way.
