|HERE'S WHO YOU'LL SEE IN CAHABA HEIGHTS|
Ian’s love for riding comes from the fact that it keeps him from going insane. In the 25+ years he has spent on a bike, Ian has met tons of cool people and has had many great experiences, including doing ride support in NYC under the Brooklyn Bridge. He loves a good PB&J while he rides and drinks his coffee black - so feel free to bring him either one next time you’re in the shop.
Patrick is convinced he is a better human being when he is riding a bike, and that’s why he’s been doing it for over 12 years now. He is excited that Cahaba Cycles gives him the opportunity to get paid doing what he loves. He’s partial towards oatmeal coffee stouts and double espressos, and he’s your go-to guy if you want to know where to ride and the perfect bike to get you there.
Jonathan has been doing crazy stuff on bikes since banana seats were cool (he says it’s been 21 years, but we all know it’s been longer than that). All you really need to know about him is that he knows what he’s doing and he will do anything in his power to make sure your bike is as fit and ready to ride as you are!
Owner / Bookkeeper / Sales
Often referred to as the “Godfather”, Kal founded Cahaba Cycles back in 1982. He's made lifelong friends with so many Cahaba customers, and you can still see him working the sales floor. Kal is an avid cyclist himself. His favorite ride was a Trek Travel trip in the San Juan Islands. When he's not getting the bills paid at the shop, he enjoys chasing around one of his four grandkids!
