Details

Trek's Top Fuel 8 WSD has it all: low weight, excellent handling and serious speed. It's capable of demolishing XC terrain with an Alpha Platinum aluminum frame and 100mm of front and rear Fox Float suspension leading the way. The handling is spot-on as well with Gary Fisher's quick, confident G2 geometry giving you everything you need to carve through the trees and nail that once-intimidating descent. Specs wise, Shimano gives you a 2x10 Deore drivetrain with powerful disc brakes. No Trek would be complete without legit gear from Bontrager, and the Top Fuel 8 complies with tubeless-ready wheels and an aluminum bar, stem and post.

Trek's G2 Geometry (version 2 of Gary Fisher's Genesis Geometry) delivers the ultimate ride for every trail. Genesis earned rave reviews for awesome handling on climbs and descents thanks to a long top tube paired with a short stem that moves the front wheel forward for top-notch confidence and control, while short chainstays add phenomenal traction. G2 Geometry takes these handling traits to the next level by boosting control on tight singletrack and technical climbs, too. This is accomplished by increasing the amount of fork offset (reducing trail), which makes G2 bikes steer more quickly, and by shortening the reach, which puts more weight on the front wheel for even better control and confidence. The two animations above showcase how G2 Geometry provides the perfect ride.
Trek's EVO rocker link is a one-piece, magnesium linkage that drastically increases rear-end stiffness and decreases total frame weight, too.
Trek's Full Floater shock mount boasts two suspended points that allow the shock to "float" through its range of action for seemingly bottomless travel and excellent tracking over every type of terrain.
Trek's E2 head tube is 1 1/2 inches in diameter at the bottom and 1 1/8 inches at the top. This maximizes front-end stiffness for awesome steering precision and control, while allowing the use of standard 1 1/8-inch stems and not adding much weight.
Trek's women's bikes feature women's-specific frames, suspension and components for a wonderful, custom fit and amazing ride. For example, the frames sport shorter top tubes, taller head tubes, steeper seat-tube angles and decreased head angles. Plus, suspension forks are fine-tuned for light riders. These details ensure top-notch handling, comfort and pedaling efficiency. Complementing the great ride are proportional crankarms, anatomic saddles, narrow handlebars, short-reach controls and small-diameter grips. Take a test ride and experience the Genesisters difference!
